It is very sad. Perhaps not unexpected that things would be tried (though I didn't expect this!), but still so sad on what should be an occasion of great rejoicing.

Oh well. He's alive and kicking. Whether the reunion is right or wrong, those who have taken part in this rumour-spreading have done nothing to help the credibility of their position. I can imagine that there are opponents to the reunion who have reasoned views on the matter who feel very much betrayed by this action.
