No, nothing quite as biblical as that, I'm afraid.
Has anybody seen the new film?
I've been told by one friend, an avid fan, that it is utter rubbish (not the word that he used) and by another good friend, also an avid fan, that it is fantastic.
I would rather like to see it, but would also prefer not to spend £4.50 for the privilege of wasting 2 hours of my life that I will never get back.
Do let me know what your thoughts are, as I plan to see it on Wednesday. Many thanks.

You will have to tell me, if you go, how you think it is.
For if it's good, then I'd love to see it!
Hi Michael
Afraid I cannot help with the film, but I am very glad to see you back posting !
God bless you as you journey to Holy Orthodoxy
Thank you, Elizabeth.
The film was absolutely fantastic. In true League of Gentlemen style, it relied largely on what has gone before, in the development of the characters and in the jokes based on previous events, and that's what makes it so good. There was sufficient entertainment that those who had not seen any of the series or the Christmass special would be able to appreciate, but a background knowledge pays dividends, much in the same way as The Life of Brian is enjoyable, regardless of any given viewer's background, but there is humour that will be missed by anybody who doesn;t have a religious background.
I recommend it.
